Celestine thankful for Victorious Ministries Support
Victorious Ministries provides financial support to Celestine, Principal of Masinde Primary School in Kenya, to help pay her teachers a wage.
The cost is 3000Ksh per month (only $40AUD) per teacher and we pay for three teachers! We choose to pay the wages of three teachers who are (in theory) to be paid by the parents of the community. Sadly not all parents can afford the (equivalent of $1.50) monthly payments and the teachers are the ones who miss out. They need to buy food too, and even cover transport costs to get to school. In the past Celestine has given teachers money from her own pocket due to the thought of teachers, (a mother caring for her children, or a son caring for his parents), going home and not being able to put any food on their table.
